Percheron /Morgan cross 10 year old, 15.3hh mare black with white star, solid build. Very pretty. Engaging personality. Thrives on attention. Three comfortable gaits, learns quickly. Good ground manners. Trailers, clips, bathes without a problem. Easy keeper, barefoot, outside 24/7.
*** I plan to sell her this fall so will not hold out for top price. Will consider any offer if rider and goals are a good fit with her--$2800 OBO?***
Amish bred. Broke to ride and drive. Was packed and trail ridden then decided she was too fancy and sold her as a dressage horse. Shown training level dressage with scores in upper 60s. Enjoys trail rides and gallops at Bunker and Rum River parks. She goes alone or with other horses. Started some jumping, she seems to have aptitude and willingness. May make a good eventer or field hunter. Needs experienced, confident sensitive rider. Does best with regular work (4+ days per week).
Selling because I have 3 little children, a busy job and other horses to work. And, I don’t have the expertise, time or interest to do the things she seems to like and perform best. I think she'd like to be a fancy trail horse, field hunter or eventer. I know I'm not doing her justice holding on to her because I like her and think she's beautiful. I don't have extensive connections in the horse community so could pay finders bonus to whoever finds the person for her.
(Youtube of our first time jumping 7/2010 below-please overlook my amateur blunders, it is the only video I can upload of her right now)
